When I signed up for the Elephant AI course, I knew it wouldn’t be easy.

Nearly 300 participants with extensive IT experience made me, as a marketing professional, think… hmm, what have you gotten yourself into?

By the third session, I hit a wall—we were diving into how algorithms and models are built, training stages, and data selection strategies.

But suddenly, it all started to make sense. The dots began to connect.

I had an incredible time learning, writing the final project, and playing with GenAI tools 👌 I felt like I was in a toy store—each tool had even cooler features than the last.

The e-commerce project in the fashion sector was a major challenge and an absolute blast. Together with my virtual assistant Rebecca, we created one of the top projects. I still can’t believe it 🥳

My plan for this year is to go even deeper into the world of AI, because it’s absolutely fascinating. I personally believe in the positive scenarios—where AI, combined with the human factor, can bring real value, especially in areas like healthcare.

This has been my personal “zero to hero” journey in the world of AI—at least for now. When I first became interested in AI, I didn’t really know the “what, how, where, or when”… I only had a vague idea of why I wanted to explore it. Now, I feel like I know a lot. I understand what lies behind the simple interfaces of tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney. I finally get what RPA, GANs, RAG, Computer Vision, and IoT are all about 🙃—and how to actually use them.

These past 7 weeks in the Elephant AI PRO – AI for Managers course were truly intense.

But I want much more. And for that—for this direction I now see ahead of me—I’m deeply grateful to Maria Parysz and Elephant AI. You’ve given me an incredible foundation that I hope will be a springboard into a much more exciting future. One thing’s for sure: I’m not resting on my laurels. This summer will be a busy one 😊🙏

The experience confirmed my previous knowledge and gave me the assurance that I am taking the right steps in managing these projects. In addition, the program analyzed certain elements in depth, such as data science roles and the marketplace for the profession, algorithm types, data analysis challenges, and most importantly, the lessons learned from Maria. The instructors were experienced individuals with various viewpoints, which allowed us to focus on different aspects and practice the theory on a capstone project. This opportunity allowed us to apply the knowledge into real-life situations. The training was full of deep expertise around AI projects and their management. I am now inspired and excited to expand my journey into AI in general and AI projects specifically. Even though I am not a data scientist, I am a project manager who continuously strives to adhere to the highest professional standards.

Well, I’ve just completed the highly intensive Elephant AI – AI FOR MANAGERS course.

35 hours of intensive workshops, dozens of hours of tutorials, an exam, and finally a project in the AI domain helped me organize my understanding of the AI ecosystem. It’s a great starting point for continued exploration of the topic.

In other words – I’m combining #leadership experience and knowledge with #AI to help leaders navigate rapid technological change.

And I love Carol Dweck’s idea (yes, the one behind #growthmindset): “Success is not about innate talent, brilliance, or luck. It belongs to those who believe there’s always more to learn.”

Even though Maria Parysz warned us right at the start that the whole course is built on structured learning steps—that there would be moments of feeling overwhelmed, full of doubt, but that eventually all the dots would connect… I wouldn’t be a true Pole if, after the first session, I didn’t say the magic phrase: "What am I even doing here? I have no idea what any of this means!" 🤷‍♀️

Fast-forward 7 weeks later—and there I was, walking around my apartment before the final exam, explaining out loud what Federated Learning is, how RAG architecture works, and what quantum computing means… 🤓
Believe me, for someone who’s totally non-technical, that’s really SOMETHING ✨

Of course, I know this is just the beginning of learning about this fast-moving field of technology…

These were probably the fastest 7 weeks of intense learning I can remember in a long time. We’ve been on this AI journey together twice a week until 23:00 but it didn’t feel exhausting at all despite the late hours. The energy of the group and our instructor Maria Parysz allowed us to keep high motivational levels to complete the biweekly classes, the offline materials, the exam, and THE PROJECT! I am extremely happy with the distinction of “The Best Project” for the Banking problem, and I am pleased I was given the chance to present my Banking Project to the group. I must admit it feels sort of weird not having our Tuesday and Thursday nights in the company of Elephant AI anymore.

While one journey has ended, I am can confidently say that another one has just started. The word “AI” may have been repeated millions of times this year on the media and social networks and that is clearly a sign of the fruitful period we are facing in addressing our Companies’, Society’s and Daily Life’s problems with the help of Artificial Intelligence. This course is also an extra motivation for me in delving deeper into the technical concepts of Data Analysis, Machine Learning and GenAI.

There comes a point when most trainings and courses just stop impressing you. You start looking for something with that “wow” effect—something new that completely changes the way you see the world.

That’s how I began my nearly two-month journey into the world of AI, with Maria Parysz and the Elephant AI team as my guides. I couldn’t have chosen better!

After the first session, I honestly thought this course wasn’t for me—why would someone working in HR need to go into such technical detail? But with each passing day, I got more and more hooked. Apologies to everyone who had to keep listening to my endless stream of new AI discoveries 😅

For those asking, “Is it worth it?”—the answer is: it’s always worth it. To exchange thoughts with others, to hear how they approach things, to get inspired, and to plan how to apply that knowledge—both in the short and long term—while keeping an eye on what’s next in the world of data and AI.

...We explored many other areas that have a significant impact on the strategy and success of digital transformation, intending to create an efficient, AI-driven business. 🚀

Equally important topics included ethics, EDA and data governance, team reskilling and building, and adapting project management methodologies. We discussed how to build startups, create a portfolio of AI projects for a company based on decision intelligence, and avoid common pitfalls.🤞🧗‍♀️

Above all, it was an opportunity to meet many wonderful, inspiring, and motivating people. ❤️

...But suddenly the whole thing started to make sense and the process of connecting the dots was surprising.

I had an incredible amount of fun learning, writing the project and playing with the GenAI👌 tools, I felt like I was in a toy store because each tool had better and cooler options.

The fashion e-commerce project was challenging and brilliant fun. Together with my virtual assistant Rebecca, we conjured up one of the best projects. I still don't believe it 🥳....

What People Director is doing at an advanced course of AI for Managers? The answer is simple. As People expert staying ahead of technological advancements is crucial for driving organizational transformation successfully and fostering a future-ready team.

Participating in the AI for Managers course has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to leverage artificial intelligence in strategic decision-making, understanding talent changes, and enhancing overall work experience. But also important part was about being aware understanding risks and ethical challenges.

I am happy from outcome of all evenings invested trying to understand what LLM is and how it works through why “data is new oil” and how nasty can be a tool if we do not control it enough.
